Medical Innovation and treatments was my first choice but it's been mentioned. So, I'll go with something more simplistic like "Motor Vehicles." Without Motor Vehicles, we'd still be using the horse and buggy, taking hours instead of minutes to go distances.

I've ridden in them, it's great for a romantic ride or a novelty but I'll take anything that's motorized transportation.
