Question of the Day!

There are two and both can make me cry when I hear or sing them so it's hard to choose. I suppose it depends on whether i am at a ball game or a funeral:

The Star Spangled Banner - lyrics by Francis Scott Key
Favorite line: "oh say does that star-spangled banner yet wave?"

The Battle Hymn of the Republic - lyrics by abolitionist Julia Ward Howe
Favorite line: "as He died to make men holy, let us die to make men free"

Both are set to well-known tunes of the day, not original music, but rousing nevertheless.
