You don't have to increase your font size, but I find it a kindness when I read an item with font size increased by a point or two (I'd never expect someone to go beyond 14, especially with clean fonts–cutesy fonts are another story). That said, I'm much more likely to read and review longer items if the size isn't tiny (smaller than 12) because I take a lot of care and time when I write reviews and the eyestrain isn't worth it. That doesn't mean I won't review an item by someone I'm interested in or an item that really appeals to me I personally don't care about the size of forum and newsfeed posts because they tend to be short (and I don't read everything that's posted). I don't know how fonts appear on mobile, though I tend to increase my font size when I'm emailing someone I know is working with their phone. I usually have my browser size increased to 110-120% because my eyesight is declining rapidly. Giant sized posts on the newsfeed are irritating when I've increased my screen size, though–you know, posts promoting something that are the size of a roadside billboard. All in all, I agree with you that you shouldn't have to increase the size–especially if that bothers you or things just look better to you without increasing the size. Do what works for you. I love your witchy sig mouse! ![]() “I wonder how many of the great heroes of history would turn out to be slow runners, if you ever investigated the circumstances.” ~ from Ammie Come Home by Barbara Michaels |
