You caress the cheek of your personal steed, smiling softly. You knew this horse since its childhood; he has always carried you happily, through the forests, the grassy plains, even to the gryphon stables and back. You would gladly give up your life to save this loyal friend who bore you where ever your heart desired.
As you canter out of the stables, you head towards the castle. At first fallowing the main road, but you thought about it. The road curved around the Venia forest and to the castle. This, when compared with a straight route through the forest, would take a long time. Your horse was fast, but it would still take a long time. However, you knew how to handle this horse; you could easily navigate the twists and turns of the forest and not be harmed at all.
