About Rob's Weight

A couple of hours later, Ad was starting to get a little tipsy. The topic of conversation turned again to Rob's weight.

"So how did you get so big, man?", Ad asked. "I mean, you look like you were an athlete not too long ago."

"Well, football season just ended, and I found out that we won't be having a season next year, so I decided to take it easy this summer instead of working my ass off for the team," replied Rob, as he shoved another handful of chips into his mouth.

"Hey, man, life doesn't end with football, you know," Ad warned. "Think of all those forty-year-old ex-jock guys with the huge beer bellies who hang out in dives wondering where the hell their lives went. Then they start having all kinds of health problems because they stopped taking care of themselves. Not to mention the fact that even their own wives won't sleep with them because they're so gross-looking. Do you want to be one of those guys, chubbs?"

Rob thought about it for a second, and then said...
