Nami watched as they sailed away from Alabasta. Saying bye to her friend Vivi was tough, but they couldn't stay there as the Marines were going after them. But she smiled to herself.
"At least I was able to get some loot from some destroyed shops," Nami thought, "I'll just right it off as an unknown payment received for helping save the country." A call from a crew mate brought her out of her train of thought.
"Oh Nami, my love," Sanji called, "I have made your favorite meal dinner."
"Thanks, but I'm not hungry at the moment," Nami said. She slightly enjoyed watching Sanji get depressed.
"I'll have it then!" Luffy said falling from the crow's nest.
"Back off buddy, I made it for Nami and Robin, not you and your bottomless pit of a stomach," Sanji said kicking Luffy.
"When will you get it, that won't work on them, Ero-cook," Zoro said.
"Like you could do better?" Sanji asked.
"Neither is my type, so I won't bother with the effort," Zoro said. Nami laughed at the scene before her before deciding to look at some of the treasure she had.
In her room, she was looking at some of the artifacts.
"These are so cool," Nami said picking up a gold necklace, with emeralds and rubies embedded into it and putting it on. She felt a pinch and slight electric charge as she clasped it around her neck. She decided to show it off to the only other person on the ship who'd enjoy it.
"Uh, Robin?" Nami asked knocking on her door, "I have something I want to show you."
Robin Nico opened the door and saw Nami's necklace. "Interesting find, Ms. Navigator," Robin said, "I take it it's from Alabasta?"
"Yeah, it was in a chest I found during my fight with Ms. Doublefinger," Nami said, "You like it?"
"It's pretty and suits you," Robin said with a sincere voice. It was then she noted the ruins. "But it may not be safe."
