Elith opened her eyes and slowly the world came into focus... she was lying naked on a cold steel floor... with bars surrounding her... she was in a cage! elith jumped to her feet and ran to the bars looking outside she could see that her cage was on a dresser in a bedroom.
The room was red walled with black furnishings she saw a monstrous bed flanked by two end-tables, the window she had flown throught last night seeking salvations, a book-shelf stacked with thick volumes and two doors; one probably a closet and the other a possible escape route... the heavy window was closed now....
A monstrous shriek from behind elith startled her and she spun to see another cage next to hers in this one was the monstrous bat from last night! A trap! She had been tricked and that meant that the human woman who had 'saved' her last night was really... a witch!
Elith threw herself back onto the cold steel of her prison and began weeping. How could she possible escape?
