Chapter #5Years later... by: Blake It had been years after that fateful day, and the child was "raised" by the guy in gray, who without it was a 16-18 year looking teenager, with extremely long white hair, which went down his waist and covered his eyes as well. Just after he got the child, he came to an abandoned warehouse, and threw him violently against the floor, and did not pay attention to his cries. He simply walked away and did not return until the following day, to check on him. He gave an evil smile and said
-"Hey little baby, I brought you a pet!!"-
With that, he released a big rat, which almost instinctively, attacked the defenseless child, slashing through his soft skin with its claws and biting the baby in the shoulder. The baby tried to get away from the rat, and despite being hungry and tired, managed to crawl away, but the rat was after him and kept wounding him. It kept like that for more than 30 minutes, and the white haired guy was considering killing the rat, when the baby's black eyes went blank, and swiftly grabbed the rat and broke its neck easily. After that, the baby fell unconscious. The white haired guy smiled.
When the baby woke up, he was presented to a badly cracked and seemingly old bowl full of milk. The white haired guy said
-"You earned it, but only for that one. If you want more, you'll have to prove worthy..."-
Despite not truly understanding the stranger, the baby's instinct told him to drink the milk from that bowl. As the time passed, this white haired guy kept making the baby fight everyday rats, mice, and as he grew, cats and dogs. When the child was old enough, he stopped giving him milk and gave him water in his only bowl per day, along a small piece of bread.
The years passed, and the child turned into an older kid (10 years old). The white haired guy allowed himself to even bring wolves to make the kid fight with, and was pleased on seeing how first Blake got wounded, then, his eyes became blank and killed violently the animals. He had taken little time to speak with the kid, and barely taugh him some language. The kid knew how to read and write, but beyond that he wasn't allowed to do anything he wasn't told to. He spent most of the time recovering from his wounds from his daily fights. One of those days, after killing two wolves and waking up from unconsciousness, the white haired guy said
-"Well done my pet. Here's your reward as always"- He presented him the same old bowl full of water and two pieces of bread. He ate them desperately, and after he was done, the white haired guy stared impatient at him, asking
-"Well?"-
-"Thank you, master, for feeding me once more"- The kid answered submissively.
-"That's better. Now, go to sleep, you need to rest for tomorrow..."- The kid walked to an empty room inside the warehouse, and laid on the floor. Minutes later, the white haired guy felt a presence behind him
-"How long is this going to take, Blaze?!!"-
-"Years. Fricking years, I told you!! And since when have you grown so bold"- He turned around to see his visitor
-"I'm sorry, prince..."- The visitor apologized
-"He's progressing well. At this rate, in about 4 years he'll be ready"-
-"4 years?!!"-
-"Hey!! We've been stuck here for over 10,000 years!!, I guess 4 more won't hurt"-
-"Alright..."- The visitor vanished
However, things were going to change. 1 years later...
Blaze was sleeping as usual, but woke up when hearing a knock in the door 'Who the heck knocks a warehouse's door? And this early at that?!!' He thought, after checking his watch, which marked 7.00 AM. He walked groggily and opened the door
-"Yeah?"-
-"Good morning"- A police officer said -"I've been informed that people live here..."-
-"So what?"- Blaze asked groggily
-"This is an abandoned building!!"-
-"I have no means to get a better place, officer..."-
-"How many people live here?"- The police officer asked, Blaze growled, he was thinking about killing him with just a single energy shot, but noticed a lot more of patrols outside 'Dammit... the kid isn't strong enough yet... he'd die easily if these stupid bastards shot at him...' He thought, and decided to stay "good" with the officer
-"Just me and my brother..."-
-"Where is he?"-
-"Sleeping over a room..."- Blaze opened the door slightly more to allow the officer to see the black haired boy sleeping on the floor
-"He looks nothing like you..."-
-"I'm a frickin' albino, 'kay?!!"- Blaze said
-"Uh... sorry about that..."- The officer apologized (well, despite the way Blaze was answering, an adult man would be more comprehensive to stray children, at least normally, right?)
-"But that kid should be getting ready for school right now..."-
-"I don't have money for that. We have barely enough to get food. But at least he finished elementary"- Blaze answered, and showed the officer a certificate (which was fake, Blaze kept it just in case), though inside, he was having fun fooling a human.
-"I see, though, I'm afraid I'll have to take you both at some orphanage..."-
-"What?!! I mean... that wouldn't work, my brother is too old to be picked by any family... and, in case you wonder, we aren't into drugs, otherwise we'd have loads of money..."- Blaze replied in such a teenagerish way that made the officer laugh, he said
-"Okay then. I'll let it slide for this time, but you better have your brother registered at a high school ASAP good thing he's at the right age..."-
-"Yeah"- Blaze nodded annoyed
-"I'll get you some money through a scholarship, so, as long as your brother studies, you won't starve"-
-"Gee... thanks officer"- Blaze pretended to be polite, and soon the officer left. Blaze growled angrily, thiking
'God dammit!! I have to frickin' get this kid at school!! And I can't leave that easily because I know they're watching me... I might kill them but more officers would come and I'd make it to the most wanted list... And this kid might get killed in the process, no way, I've spent years to train him...' He thought, then another thought echoes in his mind
'Well... that might be a chance to Blake for seeing what humans really are like... and so he'll come to truly hate them!! When he's strong enough he'll start killing people mercilessly!!! Maybe the school is a good idea'
-"Blake!!"- He shouted, and immediately, the boy was before him, down to his knee
-"Yes, master?"-
-"Your life is going to change. You'll be going to school in a few months*"-
-"School, master?"-
-"Not a big deal, it's a place crowded with immature young humans. Your mission will be to lean about their disgusting nature, and keep on a low profile. You'll have to act as a human..."-
-"With all due respect, master, I don't know how to do that"- Blake answered
-"Dammit... well, I guess I'll have to teach you their disgusting ways of life then"-
-"What's it for, master?"-
-"Because I've kept you isolated from the world, the cruel and horrible world. Yet, you have to get to know because you'll destroy it one day, and need to know what will you be fighting. I also want you to see the people with your own eyes, how disgustingly they live, and how stupid they are. I want you to hate them, after you see how they truly are..."- Blaze said, really sounding conviced, despite he knew that he was acting cheaply
-"Understood"- Was Blake's answer
-"But your training will go on while you aren't as school"- Blaze remarked
-"Understood, master"-
-"Good"-
And so, Blaze taught Blake about human behavior, but he mostly was focusing him on hating humans after finding out how they were. Blaze told him that they were hypocrite, and acted nice despite they hated others.
-"So, remember this, even if a human attacks you, don't fight back unless he either really hurts you or are alone. If you happen to be alone you may kill him"-
-"Understood, master"-
-"Also, don't talk very long to them. Talk to them as least as possible, or they may corrupt you..."-
-"I will not fall for their lies, master"-
-"Good. But I want to remark THIS because most of people will try to act nice around you. Just ignore them, and don't say anything unless it's necessary, however, this only applies to the other humans which look like your age. You'll have to stick to what teachers say..."-
-"Teachers?"-
-"Adult humans, who are supposed to teach things to the young ones, though most of that isn't important at all. But you'll have to pay attention to them and do as they say, within limits"- Blaze answered
-"Alright, master"-
-"You also are not allowed to fight back ANY adult being while in school. You can fight back only the ones your age. I'll take care of any adult who causes you trouble"- Blaze added
-"Understood, master..."- And so, the months passed quickly
*In story, it's December, and school registrations are done about February, at leats that's how it's done where I live, I'm not sure about the US... Also, here's obligatory for children to go to school up to 9th grade indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
