With the Wilko store being on a main street, those inside could also see all the people walking by, and many of them stopped to do a spot of window shopping. The street was just like any other on in a town center, whether in northern England or elsewhere. And the store, which closed it's doors before Steven and his fellow Evening Shift team members started work, was like any other normal hardware store in the country, but Steven's own life was going to be anything but 'normal' from now on.

1. Starting work.

2. Steven greets his friends.

3. He heads to the restroom.

4. A call to the manager's office.

5. Liz gathers the staff.
