"You must be my next opponent!"

You hesitate at first, both a little dazed partly from the fall and partly from this goddess's shining grace, light generously poured from every inch of her and she beamed a welcoming smile...wait, she wants to fight?! You leap back up into a battle stance and your hand instinctively snaps to the hilt of your blade. You haven't tasted combat since you left home and it was time to see what Smash Bros. is all about. "Alright let's go!" You yell. The towering woman bends down to your eye level and giggles. "Such enthusiasm!" Palutena chuckles and steps back "So eager to comply for a goddess! I could really use you." That last comment went over your head, but you didn't care.
You lash your sword from your hilt for one of your trademark strikes but find it quickly blocked by a barrier of light. So you summon your strength and try again. Now you're getting frustrated. You swipe manically over and over to break through the wall to no avail. Eventually you stop about from tiredness, you can't find the strength to hold up the sword and the tip clangs as it hits the pavement. Palutena lowers the barrier to watch you pant "Aw. My little mortal needs to learn to pace himself."
My little mortal?
You think to yourself.
What does she mea-
A blue beam of light burst from her staff and slammed into your chest, hurling you into a wall. Palutena floats over to you. You can only see her sandals and you notice she has quite large feet, which makes sense given her height. You crane your neck up to see the same welcoming smile she as before. "It seems my pet has problem focusing too." Her comments are starting to unnerve you a little bit, but her nurturing aura says otherwise. You have no idea how to feel about this woman. Palutena giggles again and you break away from your train of thought before managing to stand. "Alright that's enough now, I win. Now let's go!" Palutena's tone suddenly seems somewhat sterner. "You have so much to do!" Looking into her deep, jade eyes you feel yourself calming. But your inner warrior burns to fight on for your honor!
