"Let's hurry up and move pass these damn ants quickly, we don't need them crawling on us while we're trying to get up the road." Fransisca called out as she quickly moved down the walkway towards the other set of stairs. "What do you think happened to that poor man for him to end up like that?" Marie asked as she followed closely behind her sister. "I don't know and I don't fucking care. Let's just get out of here before one of his friends show up." Fransisca replied as she walked out onto the street. All around the two girls were torn halloween decorations hanging from street lights and buildings, adding a creepy atmosphere to the already nightmarish cityscape. "God, this whote place just feels... wrong, let's hurry up Marie." Fransisca said as she began walking down the street. "I can see a Walmart all the way at the end of this road, after we get some supplies there we can figure out what to do next."
The street leading to their destination went down a fairly steep slope, allowing them to better see the desvistation inflicted upon Rustone. There were even a few smoke clouds from fires rising in the distance deeper inside the city. It was all so much to take in that they barely noticed a police officer stumble out from behind an over turned car. "Oh thank goodness, mr. police man!" Marie called out, only to fall silent when she realized the person before her was no longer human. A soft groan escaped the mans lips as he raised his head and stared at the two living humans with pure hate in his glowing red eyes. "God damn it, Marie, he's one of them!" Fransisca called as she grabbed her sister by the arm and pulled her along past the rotting corpse. "Ah! My knife!" Marie called as the blade slipped out of her hand and fell near the dead officer's feet.
"Don't worry about it and just come on, he's a slow one." Fransisca said as she loosened her grip on her younger sister's hand. "We'll get you a new weapon at the store." The cop limped after them on a broken ankle and soon fell behind as the girls made it to the parking lot in front of the store. "You know, I used to hate how these things showed up everywhere... now I'm just glad we got a place to get all the stuff we need." Fransisca said as she flicked her cigarette on the sidewalk and stepped on it.
"We shouldn't split up if I don't have a weapon." Marie said as she walked over to the sliding doors and looked inside." The interrior looked dark and empty, but the soft sounds coming from inside ment that there were still zombies here. "Alright, good point." Fransisca noted. "Where do we go first then?"
