The child continued to walk forward without any indication that she had head anything despite getting closer with each step and despite Ash screaming until he was hoarse. As far as she knew Ash wasn't even there. She didn't even look down. Her feet, which had to be at least twenty five feet across sank into the ground with every step creating craters in their wake. She was fast too, faster than anything that big had any right to be.Within moments her feet were crashing down around him and then she was past him making her way down the path. If there was any lingering doubt in Ash's mind that this wasn't happening, it was erased after that close encounter. He watched her for a while. It didn't look to him that she was going far, in fact he could hear loud splashing as though someone was swimming or frolicking in water.
