Ash had no way to know it but the being that towered over the tree line wasn't even fully-grown.
Barefoot completely without clothing and standing on two legs the bear cub was coming straight for him. he did what anyone in his situation would do-- he panicked and started running. Sure it was futile but don't tell that to someone who has a 300-foot Furry Grizzly Bear cub walking toward him. Ash wasn't even watching where he was running, nor did he care. A huge dark shadow fell over him. A second later the sudden blast of displaced air and the impact tremor of the furry foot touching down just beside him knocked the micro human to the ground.
Coughing dust Ash looked on as the cub continued walking. He'd been complete beneath the giant creature's notice. Perhaps it was a good thing, but he had a feeling that it was not. He continued to watch until the cub stopped in front of a mountain size rock and promptly sat down on top of it.
'Now that's something to see.' thought Ash. 'A mountain sitting on top of a mountain.'
The Bear cub sat, looking a little sad, the micro human wondered why. As Ash studied the cub it suddenly dawned on him that he somehow knew this being, and when he heard
the cub sigh he suddenly recognized him.
"Little Bear."
Well, not exactly little. As fantastic as it was, he'd been somehow brought to this strange world where Fictional Characters were real and he was incredibly tiny. Or were they just incredibly large? He had know way of knowing. It made some degree of sense as to why the cub was looking so sad. If he recalled the show there were times that his friends did go away. Whether it was the end of the summer, or hibernation. Standing back up and dusting himself off he decided to get a closer look. Naturally, he was frighten. But if this Little Bear was anything like his cartoon counterpart then He knew in his heart that there was nothing to fear. Providing he could get this Giant's attention. Eventually he found himself standing in a bare patch of dusty ground looking up at the towering Cub. Little Bear's head was tilted toward the ground, this was good. Maybe when he started yelling he'd hear and see him. He took a deep breath, he almost didn't have the nerve to cry out.
"Hey! Hey!"
Little Bear's Eyes went wide. Sitting up straight he looked about, trying to find who had spoken to him "Who said that?"
