Twilight was sent to visit Celestia

It was another ordinary day in Ponyville. Twilight Sparkle was in her home at the library, practicing a special spell she had been working with in her room. Suddenly, she saw a flash of green appear out of the corner of her eye from under the door, accompanied by a fiery sounding belch, and she recognized what it was instantly. Spike, her baby dragon assistant, had received another letter from Princess Celestia. She stopped her spell and opened the door to let Spike in. He was in the process of looking over the letter as Twilight walked over to join him. She looked over his shoulder at the letter. She felt this was unusual, since Princess Celestia never sent a letter to her out of the blue like this unless it was an emergency or something important.

"What does it say?" Twilight asked her young assistant, "I hope it's not bad news."

"It doesn't seem like it, " said Spike, as he read the letter out loud:

"Dear Twilight Sparkle,

Do not worry. I have written to you because I would like for you to visit me at Canterlot. It's been a while since you have been here last, and I would like to catch up on old times and discuss what all you've been learning about magic and friendship. Perhaps you could show me that spell you were working on that you told me about in that letter you sent with your latest friendship report. I hope you will stop by soon.

May the sun's blessing be with you, my faithful student.

Princess Celestia"


Twilight let out a sigh of relief. "Whew! I'm glad it's nothing major to worry about. Besides, I can't wait to show her what I've been working on."

"That reminds me," said Spike, "What WAS that spell you were working with?"

"Well, I guess it's no use hiding it from you, my number one assistant," Twilight responded, "The spell I'm working with is able to..."
