Velma walked to the corn dog stand. "Uhmm, helloooo? Is anybody working here? I'd like to get a corn dog please?" Velma squinted, looking inside the stand for anyone, but with no luck. She hadn't noticed that a corn dog had popped up right underneath her, its aroma wafting up her nose. "Mmmmm... oh! Uhh, thanks!" she said a bit nervously, picking up the corn dog. As soon as her teeth sunk into it, she knew this was the best corn dog she'd ever had. "Mmmphh... mmmm, JINKIES! This is really good! Not like the cruddy food this place USED to serve..." She took bite after bite until the entire thing was gone. "Ahhh...." she sighed, patting her belly, followed by a small belch. "Oops! Excuse me!" she giggled.
Just then, her mind snapped back to the entire reason why she was here! She needed to find out who was behind the weird happenings at the carnival! But the corn dog was just SO good... She just HAD to...
