Jen was a very trustworthy person and a good friend so Evan thought she would be a good choice to test the power out with. Evan had known her since they were both little kids because she lived across the street. He replied to her text and said that he had something to show her after school. She responded not too long afterwards and said they could meet up at her house when she got home.
Evan spent the time by playing on his Xbox. After a few hours had passed, Jen texted him saying that she was almost home. Evan put his shoes on and headed downstairs and out the door, meeting Jen on the street.
"Hey," she said when she saw him, sounding a bit out of breath from the walk home. She was currently wearing a knee length gray skirt and a pink v-neck sweater. Her shoulder length black hair was pulled back into a ponytail.
"How was your day off?" she asked jokingly once she had caught her breath.
"Fine," Evan replied.
"So, what did you want to show me?" Jen asked as they headed toward her house.
"Well this might sound crazy," Evan started to explain. "But last night I had this weird dream that told me I had the power to swap anything between myself and another person as long as they're willing. I woke up with a killer headache, which is why I didn't come to school today. It finally went away, but I have this feeling inside of me telling me that I really have this power."
"That does sound crazy," Jen said as they headed inside. "I suppose you want to try it out though. I know I would." she laughed.
"Wait, you actually believe me?" Evan asked as they stopped to take their shoes off at the door.
"Sure. I've heard you say crazier things," said Jen as they headed up to her room. Both her parents were at work for several more hours so they had plenty of time to test out Evan's power in private.
"Alright then, what do you want to swap?" Evan asked his friend.
"Well ..." said Jen, thinking over some ideas. "Let's try swapping ..."
