The powerful lizard man decided to watch and observe for the best chance to take out the Prince. It would give him a chance for him to think about what to do with the Eye of the Lizard Kings when he got it back for his people. The tales of the power it held varied from the tribe telling the tale but all seemed to agree that it gave the power to challenge even dragons and that was certainly something that he wanted for his people.
Evil dragons took advantage of his people and made them slaves to their whims and gluttony for treasure. Sitha wanted to slay some of them to punish them for some of the lizard people who had died in their service and maybe some of the treasure could help build a better life. The simple living in the swamp could be nice but it was a harsh life because they depended on the swamp to provide them with food and it wasn’t always of a giving nature. The lack of protection from all of the predators and hostile forces of the world was the biggest issue. Swamps weren’t exactly prime building grounds but some walls would be nice.
The journey to the fort was long but he still refused to take a horse because it felt too much like riding your food, luckily there was a raft that went most of the way to the location and his legs were strong enough to get him the rest of the way to the location. Many of the people he encountered along the way stared at him and he could understand their curiosity and fear. Most of them had never seen a lizard man before and all of the teeth and claws didn’t exactly suggest a friend. He did his best to ignore them as he continued on his journey.
