Mike decided to head to the furniture store his friend Jon worked at. It would be fun to show Jon, and after Jon closed up, maybe they could mess around with it?
Mike arrived at the furniture store after a short walk. He entered inside to see Jacob, a 5’11” boy of a man, age 20, Jon’s coworker. Jon himself was nowhere, even though he was usually working at this time on this day of the week. “Hey Mikey! Come in!” said Jacob warmly from behind the store counter. “If you're looking for your friend, he’s gone on an errand for me. He should be back soon!” “Okay, is it okay if I wait here for him?” Mike inquired. “Yeah, were really slow right now! Do whatever you want...so long as it doesn’t mess with the displays.” Mike figures that while he was waiting for Jon, he could try out the remote at least, to make sure it wasn’t a waste of excitement. Mike pointed at a floor lamp and then at a fourposter bed, and after a flash of light he was faced with a bed which was glowing. It’s four posts converged to make a lampshade.
“Jacob?” Mike called.
“Yeah?” He heard a response.
“What is this?” He said, pointing to the bed lamp.
Jacob poked his head around the corner. “A lamp bed.” He sounded a bit confused.
“Okay..” said Mike, realizing that his fusion worked. He hit the defuse button.
“Jacob” he asked again.
“What is it? I just sat back down!” He said.
“What is this?”
“I literally just told you, it’s a bed and it has a lamp right next to it.”
Mike turned the corner and aimed the remote at Jacob, then pressed the fuse button. With Jacob loaded as one of the things being merged, Mike tried to decide what he should merge with. Mike decided to close his eyes, hold the remote out, and spin. At some point, he pressed the trigger button. Mike hit...
