Boy decided to have some more fun with his cool new powers on the soccer field. He looked over at his teammates and surveyed the status and condition of each one.
Adrian was starting to feel tired and Boy could feel it. Using his awesome powers, Boy could read Adrian's mind and he could sense his emotions. Boy focused his powers on Adrian's physical condition and decided to give him an additional boost by inflating his muscles a bit.
Boy increased Adrian's quads and calves a bit, plus he expanded his pectorals and his abdominals. This gave Adrian additional stamina and speed on the field and it was immediately noticeable. Adrian started running faster and he was able to hold out longer without getting tired. Boy just smiled as he witnessed the immediate results of his powers on his teammate.
Next, Boy spotted Bryan. Poor Bryan had been on the field since the start of the game and his right knee started to hurt again. Plus he was getting a cramp. So, Boy focused his powers on Bryan and made the cramp disappear. Next, he focused his powers on the right knee and strengthened both knees at the same time. Lastly, he added more power to his legs by adding more muscle to Bryan's quads and calves as well.
Boy felt really good about his team now. Everybody was playing at their best and the boys were passing the ball to each other consistently. They scored three goals in a row and ended up beating the other team easily.
When the game was over, Boy sat on the bench and chatted with his teammates for a few minutes, while drinking from his water bottle. Then, one of his teammates came over and asked him to hang out for the rest of the afternoon. He really liked the idea!
It was Nate, one of Boy's best friends. Obviously, Boy still needed to tell Nate about his cool new divine powers. When and how would this take place?
