The outlet store is crowded. People are filling up the aisles and it is uncomfortable to try and squeeze between them. You find yourself grumbling as you and Sarah approach the formal dresses.
There are several racks with dresses, but most of them appear to have been picked clean. Cursing yourself, you regret having waited this long to find a dress; however, its not like you have a date to Prom. What's the point in spending money to impress an imaginary boyfriend?
"OMG! Look at this!" Sarah squeals with delight as she races towards a strapless, lavender dress.
"That looks amazing!" You respond. "What are the odds that we would find the perfect dress within five minutes of arriving?"
"What do you mean, 'we'?" Sarah snottily replies. "This is my dress. You need to find your own."
"You don't need to be so bitchy about it," You huff as you walk towards another rack.
Sitting on a rack, almost unnoticeable, in the back corner of the section sit two dresses. The dress is a pink dress with sequins, glitter, and spaghetti straps. The second dress is a fiery red, strapless affair with a black swirl that circumnavigates the fabric from the floor to the waist.
