The jewelry case is full of all kinds of odd trinkets. You weren't entirely sure what each stone was, but they looked to be the ordinary, run of the mill, sapphires, rubies, and emeralds.
"Let me know if there is anything that you want to get a better look at," The saleswoman states, getting her keys out.
"Could I see that emerald necklace with the silver chain, please?" You ask the saleswoman.
Unlocking the case, she reaches in and pulls out the necklace. It sparkles in the light and you are entranced by it. The emerald was a simple stone laid in silver, with a thin silver chain. The price tag stated that it was sixty dollars.
The saleslady allows you to try the necklace on. She holds up a mirror while you examine yourself. The necklace is absolutely stunning. Your heart is aching to buy it; however, if you buy it then you won't have enough money to buy a dress.
