In the vast expanse of the Milky Way galaxy, the Normandy SR-2 continued it's journey across the stars to prepare the universe for the coming Reaper threat. While the crew that consisted of many different species did their part to make sure everything ran smoothly, one particular member was dealing with a personal issue of her own. That person was Commander Shepard, the leader of the ship and a decorated soldier of many years, a regular Alliance hero. She herself had been instrumental in taking down the Reaper vanguard Sovereign years earlier and now she had made it her life's mission to make sure the universe survived the coming war.
Currently however she was facing a different battle: the battle of the bulge. As the commander ran her right hand through her fiery red hair, her green eyes peered down at the button of her pants as the smallest amount of tummy flab was preventing it from being closed.
"Okay I'm just going to suck it in and button it. I haven't gotten that big! Not yet at least!" Shepard rationalized to herself as she felt the soft chub that had replaced her hard abs. It was embarrassing to admit she had packed on a few extra pounds (too many nights of stress eating as she attempted to piece together plans and ideas to stop the Reapers) and it was even more embarrassing that it had been enough to make her pants not fit.
She had struggled to get them to cover her slightly larger rear end when she pulled them up, her panties pinching her cheeks just the tiniest bit, and now she was facing her second worst nemesis in the form of her pants button. Once again sucking in with all her might, Shepard attempted to close the gap and get the button through the hole.
