Chapter #6

You meet with your parents at the same time

“Alright Tim, I’ll go get them. Shouldn’t be more than 10 minutes and we can continue this conversation so that cooler heads prevail.”

“Just get them here.”

Dr. Kerry gruffly left the room agitated by your tone and words. You didn’t care what he was thinking or feeling though. You were just trying to figure out what the hell was going on. Hearing that your whole family had been swapped around into each other’s heads was the type of thing you’d see in a sci-fi movie, not real life. So getting this news had obviously upset you. Now Dr. Kerry was being a jerk because you were a bit agitated? “Who does he think he is?” You thought to yourself in disbelief. “As if I was going to just accept this news wholesale right away. Sheesh”

While you were waiting, for far longer than ten minutes, you got yourself up out of bed and further explored your body. Your father was about 7 inches taller than you had been and had managed to stay in pretty great shape for his age. You noticed a few creaks as you did a few quick knee raises and squats as you checked out your mobility. Overall you felt pretty good.

It took you a few more minutes to work up the nerve to check under your hospital gown. Looking down at your chest you saw a good deal of hair across your torso but you weren’t covered in hair over every square inch. The vast majority was across your pecks and mid chest with a little trail running all the way down to your crotch. You thought to look further and get a better look but as you were about to the door swung open and Dr. Kerry announced his return. Slightly startled you turned towards the door quickly letting go of your hospital gown. You had stretched the gown out while you were checking yourself out and the string securing the gown had unknowingly come loose. Within seconds the gown started dropping and you were completely unaware.

“You’re going to want to pick that up son,” came a voice that you recognized as your mother’s.

You looked down and saw the gown had slide right off and was now pooled up at your feet. You did as instructed while also having caught your first glimpse of your body’s penis. It was considerably larger than your former body’s. There wasn’t time to dwell on that though because your embarrassment was exponentially rising every second you were existing there in front of the Doctor and your mother. You collected the gown and wrapped it quickly around your waist to attempt to regain your modesty.

“Well, I guess he’s still our same clumsy Tim at least,” you heard Tabitha’s voice say.

You sat back down on your hospital bed covering yourself as best possible as Dr. Kerry and two others walked in.

“Tim, I’d like to reintroduce you to your mother and father.”

You saw your mother’s and Tabitha’s bodies enter the room like Dr. Kerry had said but you weren’t ready to accept it so simply.

“Tabitha? What’s up with this sick game? Are you ok?”

“Tim, I know it’s hard to accept, but I’m not Tabitha. I’m your mother.”

“So you’re in on it too then, alright. Mom, enough kidding what’s the deal? Why is this doctor doing this big charade? When is he going to change me back so we can all laugh this off?”

“Oh son, this… this isn’t a joke, I really am your father here in this body and… there’s no going back,” your father said as you could see tears forming in her - or his - eyes.

“Sorry,” he said as he wiped the tears from his eyes before continuing, “still getting used to these new hormones. I’m like a non-stop water works.”

“Yeah. This is too far now. You can’t both team up against me like this,” you said feeling yourself starting to get angry.

“I see what you mean Doctor,” your supposed father said.

“I know this is a big adjustment kiddo, but you need to take a deep breath. It’s your hormones making you feel all angry and twisted up. Just like I’m over here dealing with these tears you need to process your anger in a healthier way.”

“How am I supposed to do that exactly?”

“Like I said, take a deep breath and just count backwards from ten. If that doesn’t work, Dr. Kerry said he can give you a sedative until you get more used to dealing with the elevated levels of testosterone you’re dealing with.”

“Elevated? I was a teenage boy, I know what testosterone means. I’m just pissed off at this doctor for doing this to me and now I’m more mad that you’re going along with it.”

“You’re in fight or flight mode Tim and in an adults body. This is what being a teen is helping you learn how to process. You just skipped that whole ordeal, so it’s totally understandable that you’re having a tough time with it. Tell you what, ask me something that you know only you and I have talked about and I’ll tell you the answer so you can know it’s really me”

“Fine, who won the 1996 World Series?”

“The Yankees won, but why did you pick 1996? You weren’t even alive for that.”

“I just picked a year knowing the you’d answer quickly if it was really you. Holy fucking shit Dad, your in Mom’s fucking body!”

“Language young man, I might not have my body but I am not about to let you speak like that,” your mother said.

“Sorry,” you said lowering your head from the scolding even though hearing it in Tabitha’s voice had made the comment land much softer than intended.

“I take it you are starting to believe me now then?” Dr. Kerry asked curtly.

“Yes… sorry Dr. Kerry,” you said with your eyes still staring at your lap.
