Another idyllic day out in the Caribbean. The trees are swaying, the birds are chirping, the tropical flowers blossom under the warm and inviting sun, and 1000 feet under this particular island a two billion dollar investment is squandered. All is as it should be! Facility 2, as it is known to those in the know, is a multistory underground bunker city complete with residential areas for the super humans and base staff, food courts, malls, training centers, weapon storage, and cybernetics research. The compound houses the pride of the US special forces: The Emergency Super Human Strike force (ESHSF, pronounced "Eshesef"), super heroes dedicated to protecting the public and performing tasks too dangerous for conventional means. Or rather, it should be housing that. In a perfect world that is what the base would be housing. Instead it houses a bunch of unruly brats with super powers and the human staff who are there mostly to keep them from getting bored and wandering out. As of June 15 2022 there were ten super humans in the so called strike force, each of them finding their own ways to "entertain" themselves. Now the US is stuck babysitting these uncooperative freaks as a complex web of bureaucracy and misguided patriotism keeps the base afloat. Now then, who would you like the story to focus on?
