Sam was excited walking in between the couple was a boy no older then eleven. The boy was humming looking at all of the dogs as he passed by all of them shaking his head until the boy reached his kennel. The boy smiled upon seeing sam and pointed to him “mommy daddy I want that one!” he said and both of the adults looked over the dog and said “alright Kai” and the person leading them through the pound opened Sam’s cage and led him out by a lead. They had paid for Sam and filled out all of the paperwork and Kai had rode with him in the back seat petting the dog all over and hugging “such a good boy” he said happily as he rubbed the shepherd’s head softly thinking. “when we get home we are going to have some fun” Kai whispered into Sam’s ear as he rode with him.
