Now that your children are grown and out of the house, you have a lot more time to yourself. You thought that you would enjoy some alone time, but you've started feeling lonely recently. Even spending time with your friends doesn't seem to help. You now look for any opportunity to get out of the house.
Your son had recently gotten engaged to Mary, who had grown into a beautiful and loving young woman. The two rarely ever spend any time apart and you couldn't be happier for them. Their wedding day was fast approaching and you and Tina had started making plans for your children's big day. You knew that Mary was the right woman for your son, but... was he really ready to get married?
Barbara had also been trying to set you up on blind dates. You admit that it would be nice to have someone to share your life with, but you weren't sure if you were ready to start dating again. On top of that, you didn't want anyone else to find out your secret.
You sometimes visited Jack and Mary in college during your off time. It was nice to see how the young couple was doing, and they seemed to be well-behaved, despite their campus having a reputation for being a party college.
With everything going so well, though, it may be time to go on a personal vacation. Travel to other countries, see the sights, meet new people... Of course, it could be dangerous for someone of your condition, but that made it all the more exciting.
You haven't heard from your daughter in some time, as she's been studying abroad. Maybe it's about time to visit her.
