"Are you coming?" Holly was getting up the stairs. Alex followed her, holding the size ray.
They both walked down the hall to her room. Although he had been there before it seemed different. The walls were covered with posters, the bed filled with stuffed animals, her small desk a mess and the floor littered with toys. However, the pink shaggy round carpet in the middle of her room was empty. Also her dollhouse looked more accessible, the doll's clothing neatly stacked and the dolls themselves purposefully posed.
"I want to get smaller!" Holly said as she walked up to the middle of the room.
"Wait, what?"
"I like to play with my dolls and toys as a little girl!"
"Really?" it confused me, she was already a little girl.
"Why not? I can decide right?"
True, in fact he had expected a lot of things. Her wanted to shrink herself, was very low on that list. Alex was actually quite relieved, as this wouldn't be such a bad thing. He hadn't tested shrinking anyone yet.
