Nat and Zelina opened the locker again frowning. "She's not here today," Zelina sounded disappointed at seeing you still right where they had left you. "Don't worry, I got a plan grab 'im an follow me. I already got an excuse planned for the last half of school." Nat apparently anticipated something like this might happen and so you were once again stuffed in Zelina's bookbag helpless. "Are you sure? That spell is gonna wear off if he doesn't get worn... well it'll probably make him forget too but still." Zelina questioned her bolder friend's idea.
The slightly larger girl nodded "Oh don't worry I'm sure he'll be plenty popular, look here's the store." She pointed at a building with one of it's letters conspicuously broken and several of them not lit up. Devilish Discounts wasn't run down exactly it's just that the owner of the building didn't spend any money on fixing the sign when it broke. None the less it was actually known to be one of the absolute cheapest stores for literally anything, mostly resale of any cloths that had the occupants missing for one reason or another. The two young girls made their way into the store and found exactly what they were looking for, perhaps even better than planned.
You were brought out again in a store isle with Nat giving you a smug look and Zelina seemed like she was drooling a little bit as her companion grabbed one of the empty hangers and fastened clamps on your top. As she hung you up Zelina seemed to get an idea and gently peeled one of the half off stickers from a nearby pair and stuck it to you instead. "Ohh, that's mean Lena, don't you think you're brother could at least be worth a couple bucks." Nat snickered looking at the already low dollar-fifty price tag was reduced even more by the clearance tag to a measly seventy-five cents. Zelina grinned back wickedly "I mean it's probably more than fair, we did try and give him away for free before. They probably would have taunted you more but the store manager showed up just then, she was a woman in her thirties wearing a almost comically fake devil horn hat. She was some kind of goth and despite there being no smell it looked like she had just been smoking, in fact she had a candy cigarette in her mouth right now.
"Hey, I don't get paid to babysit or listen to giggling. Beat it or buy something, I don't want another group of kids breaking stuff in my store." She almost seemed to have smoke coming out of her mouth but that was clearly your imagination that she was terribly intimidating. Nat and Zelina didn't seem intimidated but did decide to leave rather than accidentally expose their 'prank'. The manager leaned down to examine the product (you) that they had been messing with. You could read her name was Alesha and she adjusted your spot on the rack but otherwise found no flaw with your placement or pricing, you had just been in the wrong size section.
You heard Zelina say her magic would wear off after a day if you didn't get worn but you wondered if you could make it that long, she was gonna be in so much trouble when you got home! Your righteous indignation was interrupted as a hand brushed over you and you were suddenly focused to see...
