Quill sighed as he thought over everyone’s ideas. They all had some merit, but only one stuck out to him, and he hated giving Rocket any wins.
“Rocket’s right,” Peter sighed, earning looks of shock from the other Guardians, Rocket included. “That gas cost us a lot of money, and we’re not getting the bounty. Right now, selling Spider-Man might be the best chance to make some money.”
“We are running low on funds,” Gamora muttered as she looked away, unhappy about this idea. The rest of the Guardians remained quiet, but none seemed overtly against the idea.
“Well, if we’re all in agreement, then I’ll try to find us a buyer!” Rocket declares as he strolls to a nearby computer. He had heard of a few possible contacts he could get in touch with, so hopefully, things go smoothly.
Peter couldn’t help but feel tears come to his eyes as the Guardians all left to kill time. All he wanted to do was go on patrol, and now he’s being sold on the black market. How did things go so wrong?
After a bit of time, Rocket learns of a possible interested party for a shrunken Earth hero. Where are they located?
