When the 1st ascension began the world fell into chaos as hundreds of girls sudden started gaining God like powers. Eventually the girls reached their peak power from their worshipers. Since they can't feed off weaker Goddesses, other than an occasional territory dispute, the earth has since stabilized with the Goddesses each taking their own territories. Within their territory Goddesses bend reality as they wish, making area's with magic, ancient cities, or futuristic cities. Depending on treaties humans can move between territories freely or a Goddess can make trap them like possessions.
