Oh yeah, that's right! You were heading towards Kanto. A region full of wild Pokémon, famous gyms, and trainers eager to battle each other, it's home to numerous cities and towns named after colours, like Lavender, Cerulean and Vermillion City. The region may be a bit bland compared to others you could have travelled to, but you knew you'd still have plenty to do when you got there.
As the sun rose higher and the day continued onward, you found yourself looking forward to seeing what kind of Pokémon you might encounter during your travels. There were many different kinds of Pokémon to discover, ranging from common ones like Rattata and Pidgey, to rarer Pokémon such as Snorlax and Dratini. All sorts of Pokémon existed there, and as you checked your map, you started planning out which places you wanted to visit first.
Before you knew it, you found yourself bored out of mind being stuck in the small cramped cabin that you spent the majority of your time in. You needed to catch some fresh air and stretch your legs a little too, so you stood up and headed towards the front deck where you saw several sailors working hard to keep everything running smoothly. As you made your way past them, they gave you curious looks but didn't say anything about it. They seemed friendly enough, although you couldn't help noticing their rather rough demeanours. Maybe they weren't always this gruff?
You stand near the edge of the ship and lean against the railing, taking in the sights as you watch the pristine colours of the sunset spread across the sky. The sea is calm and serene, with no sign of any storms or bad weather coming anytime soon. The waves gently rock the boat along the gentle current as you sit and enjoy the view, watching the sun sink below the horizon and the stars slowly appear in the night sky. For a brief few seconds, you felt completely at peace with the world and can almost forget the stresses and worries of life back home.
That was until you felt someone tap you on the shoulder... who was it?
