You’ve spent most of your life around your own kind. Yes, you’ve encountered larger beings before, but only one or two at a time.
You’ve always felt petite, even among your own people. You are a sixth of an inch shorter than the average woman of your people. That may not seem like much to members of other species, but it’s quite a substantial difference among pixies.
But being in a room full of giants is a feeling one can never get used to. Particularly when a passing male giant will let his gaze linger on your trim, busty diminutive form.
It’s one of the reasons you spend a good deal of your time in Instefeno’s tunic pocket.
Instefeno is the de facto leader of your team of young adventurers. He is the second son of a minor noble and a recently ordained Green Knight.
(A Green Knight is a member of an ancient order of warriors who draw their power from Nature in order to protect it)
Green Knights are not held in disfavor by the kingdom, but neither is membership in their order encouraged for members of noble families.
You have known Instefeno for some time, and it was he that talked you into joining his party of adventurers. It’s a decision you hope you won’t regret.
Besides you and Instefenos, your adventuring party consists of four other adventurers. There is Janis, who calls herself a Darkwalker. She is a human as skilled in the woods as any elf you’ve ever known, and quite skilled with the crossbow.
Next is Indal, a human priestess of Tichi, the goddess of light in the Kingdom pantheon. After her is Trigh Rockbones, an eight foot tall male plains giant who is proficient in the traditional fighting style of his people. And finally there is Tamra, a female human who likes to laugh, play magical tricks and knows how to acquire objects whose owners don’t necessarily want to part with them.
