setting off for the library

"When I say it's a library" Will said "it's more, like, a corner of the boys' common room. But there are some great books there.. Faulkner, Whitman, Hawthorne, Melville, Twain, Scott Fitzgerald."

"I read Tom Sawyer once" announced Scout.

"Did they ever make a movie of that?"

Will huffed a sigh. "Phillistines." He handed Bella a baggy sweatshirt and a cap. "In case we run into faculty. Amazingly, not all of them fear the Power that is the Banks."

"They should; they've all got fallible car engines" she said casually.

Will looked at her sternly: since getting into Wicca, he'd been trying to explain to her about the sevenfold rule. "I was joking Will" she would reply. "Sarcasm. Look it up."

Scout got bored with the meaningful looks and big words. "Let's go."
