About This Newsletter

*Delight*Hello everyone! I am happy to be the editor of this edition with cool ways to promote your unique activities!

November is NANOwrimo time! And WDC has its own edition:

FORUM
The Write-A-Thon  (ASR)
A walkathon fundraiser... but for writers and those who want to sponsor writers' efforts!

you can sign up to write, or sponsor an author and raise funds for groups.


Letter from the editor

Hi everyone!

A member was asking how to promote their activity! Great query and if you have the gift points for Auto rewards or Sponsoring, there are many avenues to explore.

*Burstg* Go post it at "Writing Contests @ Writing.Com"  or "Activities @ Writing.Com" !
It is amazing how many forget to do this and it is the first place I go!

*Burstp* Ask to have it put into "Contest Clues" !

*Bursto* Add your contest link to your signature so it will be seen when you email folks!

*Burstb* Go post it on the Newsfeed! Lots of scrollers read here!

*Burstgr* How about responding to the Contest and Activity newsletter by submission form below.

*Burstr* In your port, add it as a Highlighted item or Bio Block to be seen first by visitors. Click the tool wheel on your port to add to Bio block or on the tool wheel on Highlighted items to change them. *Wink*

*Bursty* If you are preferred author or above, you can add it to your Billboard on the Who's on Line page.

*Bursty* Ask friends, or your group if they can pass the word. Folks are generally happy to help get you started.

*Burstp* You could also ask to have it highlighted for a month in "The Contest Challenge" .

*Burstbr* Finally, you can add a link onto the bottom of a review if you think it might fit the author's interest. Make sure the focus is on the review though. We don't want to abuse the review system with too much advertising. But a simple link {item:xxxxxxx} may be of interest.
