GETTING MY ACT TOGETHER

Organized chaos. That is the story of my life. Bits and pieces are highly organized and efficient, and the other parts are a hot mess.

On my "to do" list for my retirement was decluttering and getting organized. Oh, by the way, that is NOW *Laugh* I also wanted to be less "last minuted" with my WdC duties and activities. Wish me luck with all this. It is harder than I thought to break decades of habits. It hasn't even been a month yet, so I feel I need to give myself a little grace on this. The closets will get decluttered when they get decluttered.

Where was I going with this? Oh yes, the subject of this newsletter. I wrote this newsletter back in March "Help!" . You might glance back at it and read it if you missed it the first time. My plan was to get "Contest Central Station"  up and running. I put a lot of time and effort into it, but I did not quite complete it. That's why you haven't heard anything about the grand opening I promised.

I still feel it is important to support contests and activities here on Writing.Com, and that is what Contest Central Station is all about. I am finishing up the final details as of the writing of this newsletter, so it will be ready to go. I need volunteers! I need contest owners who would like assistance AND I need people who would like to provide that assistance. Don't be shy! Let me know how I can help.

Why didn't you have any editor's picks this week? There were several fundraisers going on.
Whew! Did I ever get called out on that one! Well, here's the deal. Time is a precious commodity, and I simply ran out of it when I was working on this newsletter. To add insult to injury, when I inadvertently left that section of the newsletter blank, it automatically filled in "none this week".
