Seeing a good man raise a family when all they want to do is fall down.
time to tighten the belt. Keep straddling yourself with that leather strap

Starve for those you love, sacrifice for those you are suppose to provide for

Take it down a notch, You'll never be bothered by a free moment again

No not now that you've got mouths to feed bodies to clothe, minds to mold.

take it back a tad, working the 9 to 5 was good enough for your dad.

That was back in the good old days, too bad.

You're driving in 'fore the cock's eyes blink open. Driving home after the sun's retired

Welcome home, like how we redecorated? the dinner's sliding down the wall, the wife is crying

the kids are dying, starving for attention. Work hard to rebuild what we spent the day destroying.

You don't have time for friends, sure the chair is comfy too bad you'll never get a moment to rest

You have a family to preserve, provide and protect. Not that they'll ever acknowledge it.

What was that? Oh I think your spine just snapped.
