Roses In Winter

Roses can't grow in winter.
At least, that's what they say.
But I know I saw one
Just the other day.

You can't do that by yourself.
At least, that's what they said!
I didn't pay attention,
Went full steam ahead.

I'm tired of hearing can't
Day after endless day.
I want to try it out,
Tell can't to go away!

Roses can grow in winter.
I know that for a fact.
I looked into the mirror,
And saw one looking back.
