A Sonnet about beauty |
| Beauty By: Rusty Cason The suns gold light has kissed her shining hair. That shape she has, does set your mind ablaze. My eyes are drawn upon her to a stare. Across the room I long to see her gaze. The scent she has, like nectar to the bee, It lingers after she has left the room. Her smile dwells in my mind eternally, That smile could create happiness from gloom. I see her silhouette from far way, My heart begins to pound due to the view. I long to speak but know not what to say. Just longing and my stare will have to do. Her beauty haunts me late into the night. I think of her until each morning light. By: Rusty Cason |
