My life has had an shaky foundation Most of my life I was a lost sheep A long way from my fathers arms Inside I believed That my father was born Walked this cruel earth Was murdered But rose again on the third day He died for my sins Many times I was like the planet in Mark 4:3-7 Then my father welcomed me home As if my name was Mephiboshelth My head heald death Upon it's head Life had dealth me A bad hand Dropped me into this cruel world Alone and hopeless Then my Savior Called me home Dusted me off And accepted me Just as I am He set me down and read me 1 John 1:7 The blood of Jesus Purifies us from all sins And he preceded to ask me My child why such guilt on your face From your past sins Why the regret Why the shadow of shame Why aren't you living with a smile on your face A skip and a sparkle in your heart and eyes For I already died for your sins By my stripes you are healed Why continue to hold The burdens on your already fragile shoulders Been of human flesh You ocassionally sin But remember always Sin may touch you But cannot claim your soul For I live in you Trust my work for you I took your place on the cross At Calvary already Trust my work in you Your heart is my home And I am your master |
