subconsious spiritual challenges

God has come to see me
With pity in his eyes
He shook his head in sorrow
At my weak attempt to fly

So foolish was my heart
To challenge his domain
A dare for him to strike me down
And bury me in shame

I submit my soul to torture
But not enough to learn
My stubborn prides on fire
But won't admit it burns
