Written for a friend's wedding. |
| Author's Note: While presented as a poem, this offering is more than that--it's a song, written in the form of two verses, a bridge and final verse. I would include the music with it, but that would require a Professional membership, something not achievable at this time. Stand by me, and help me along, For a love such as ours can't be wrong. Take my hand, hold it near, And my love, will not fear This, For You. This ring that I wear represents, A symbol of our love from hence. And it speaks love to you, Of my wish to be true, This, For You. Silent dreams may fade away, while one that's shared will come true, Hold in your heart each passing day, my thoughts which say, 'This, For You.' The kiss of the sun is like you, Like its warmth, you will always be true. And the song in my heart, Tells that we'll never part This, For you. Line Count: 19, Word count: 169 |
