Awarded 1st place for Round 2 of "Invalid Item" It's you I notice. You don't always see that I notice. It's my shell, you see. Or perhaps you don't. I've built it up slowly over a long time. I don't say much, but I notice ... You! It's you! I notice you looking at me. I notice the expression on your face, in your eyes, as I work, or play, or sit. I feel the love you have for me. I hear the way you talk about me with others. And I notice, though I know not why you ever noticed me, why you see me as you do, why you love ... Me! But, I notice! You! |
