The new year is coming

With battles to be won

At the close we're remembering

We have sins that are undone

Yesterday has said adieu

We know not where it went

All your sins will soon be behind you

A new day god has sent

As this year is finally ending

Tonight in prayer we bow our heads

Ask god's forgiveness of all our sins

Just in time before the new year ahead

Then As the sunlight shines in

Through the blinds on the window

We're laying in bed and we know

When we awake we're completely ready

With love also willing able and steady

For a new year again
