On a cloudy day like this
when I feel something is amiss-
Shine on me and make my day,
lets make merry and just be gay.

For a day like this will come once a while,
we still have to bear it all with a smile.
Not all days will be jolly and sunny,
not all stories will be happy and funny.

Always be with me through ups and downs,
together we will wipe the tears and frowns.
Don't ever be so sad to stop smiling,
don't ever give up on me and quit shining.
