From Where I Stand

Just a simple short poem

From where I stand, I see it all;

Where men will fight;

Where men will fall.

Where men will love;

Where men will hate.

Where men will die;

Where men will mate.



From where I stand, I hear it all;

I hear the guns;

I hear the brawl;

I hear the good;

I hear the bad;

I hear the fun;

I hear the sad.



From where I stand, I stand alone;

For no ones seen;

The love I’ve known;

The love I’ve shared;

The love I’ve shown;

The love I’ve been;

The love I’ve grown.
