A music lovers piece

I heard this lovely music play
I smiled as I walked its way
With every beat I liked it more
Feet like magnets to the floor

I followed it without a thought
Running, closer that I got
Humming songs throughout my day
Loving how it made me sway

At last I found this music’s source
Feet froze at my ending course
It seems another owns this piece
I should not listen to its beats

Earplugs make it go away
Or drown it out, or stop its play
Seems ill never have this piece
Guess it wasn’t meant for me.
