this poem is about a depressed little child and they decide to kill themself
You stand there,
staring at me.
what do you want?
what do you see?

how do you know who i am?
how can you see what no one else can?
you can tell it'll be all over.
that it will be the end.

You are the tree in the river.
mocking me with your stillness.
the more i stare back, the more i feel weak.
i need to rest.

the more i cut,
the more you stare.
the more the blood flows,
the more you stare.

i begin to feel tired.
i think im going to faint.
and before i do,
i see a saint.

it floats towards me from within you.
it stares at my wrist.
the blood pours down.
it frowns and tisks.

it tells me to follow it.
it leads me to you.
so i follow it.
its all i can do.

i am dead now.
and i now know what you are.
you are the soul catcher
of the midnight stars.

you welcome me with open arms.
i can see my baby sister.
i am now with her.
in the tree by the river.
