The Star

One of my very first poems dedicated to my dad when I was twelve yrs old.

You're the star that I see every night,

You're the star that doesn't go out of sight.

You're the star that watches over me,

You're the star that I always see.



You're the star that never goes away,

You're the star that I watch as I lay.

I know you're not going to far,

I know you're not because you're that star.
