Wasted faces
Standing places
Kindred replicates
One and the same
What a shame
Lost to our graces
Escaping cases
Defacing hatred
Making it more
Than ever before
Raising the level
High above our heads
Beyond reasonable limits
From the earth below
To the heavens above
In between we reside
In between we find time
A mountain unto itself
Meant to be climbed
When we reach the top
Our livable lives
Will indeed be stopped
By who or what
All depends upon
Elevation and dissention
We will face every decision
Headlong
Lost to our graces
We cannot be saved
Only dammed
Only turned less than
Ever before
The god of absolute choice
And the god of reluctance
Will point their fingers
Fighting over ownership
Quarreling over membership
Will it ever be settled
Will they ever come to agree
Unclear the answer seems
The brutality of darkness
Will be left to simmer
The light will no longer hinder
Again we will find ourselves
Residing in between
Being pulled towards light
As we are dragged
Further into darkness
For eons we will remain
For eons we will have to pay
The price is of course steep
Lost to our graces
Shattered are our faces
Broken are our hearts
The end is only the start
The mountain has been traversed
The decline, so perverse
Our fall, meant to be great
Our descension will remain
Wasted faces
Standing places
Kindred replicates
One and the same
What a shame

Our lives
One stumbling trip
Towards the end
We will all climb
Within that end
We will all be defined
The god of our choice
Is waiting
The god of our failures
