A Prayer Was Answered

Well I've always had faith in Christ
Even in my frustration and sorrows
When I pray to him I know everything's
Is gonna be ok...it is written ask not
Receive not that's not to say I'm not
Thankful for all the blessings in my life
But I hope the messiah grants me a
Little prayer I've prayed for years and
Years day and night...well believe it
Or not last night Jesus spoke to my
Heart and calm befell my soul
Knowing the prayer at last had been
Answered and tears of joy filled my
Eyes hearing his words of wisdom and
Saying, I have heard you and no you
We're not forgotten for you are loved
More than you know and everything
That concerns you concerns me my
Child don't you know there is nothing
Too trivial to me so fret ye not just
Believe; just believe with all your heart
When you pray and your prayers will
Be answered in time and today A
Prayer was answered by the gracious
Lord divine!
